What do you do when you've been betrayed, but you still love the betrayer? L.A. based singer/songwriter/model Kel Adore seeks to answer this dilemma in her sophomore single "Happy Again". Following her first song, "Fool For the Pain", Adore continues to tell stories that exemplify the perfect marriage of relatable truth and radio-friendly catchiness. From her identifiable delivery to her choice of instrumental accents, Adore interlaces a clear display of creative intuition throughout "Happy Again".

Talking creative choices in the studio, Adore says, "We used a mandolin and a 12-string guitar in the track and I remember being so mystified in the studio as it all came together. I took one of those little 'mental pictures' because I knew it was special and I didn't want to forget it. That moment encapsulated the magic I feel when I perform this song."
While she impresses with entrepreneurial skills, Adore's heart is driven by a desire for connection. Like a good friend, Adore walks alongside her fans and gives the precious gift of empathy. Part of Adore's mission as a creative is to "help people feel understood". "Happy Again" bravely dives into a personal story of hurt and indecision in the hopes of doing just that.
"In my life I have left (metaphorical) claw marks on everything and everyone I have ever loved. I am a fighter. A warrior. And this song demonstrates that we sometimes hold on to for far too long. No one tells you how hard it is to let go, and it is something that can only be learned through experience. If you are someone who struggles with letting go I hope this song gives you permission to release what is hurting you."

Adore remains committed to her quest by asking the hard questions: "Does she still cross your mind? She crosses mine each time you touch me. Can I forgive the lies and questioning if you still love me?" Adore irons out the lessons from her hurt and hands them over to her listeners, neatly folded into a memorable track marked by revealing emotion and sleek execution. Combining creative expertise with brutal honesty, Adore produces a perfectly concocted pop hit in "Happy Again".
