The video itself comes from a personal place for Shira, as the candid feature is a string of backstage footage from her tours last year in the United States as well as Europe. "I wrote this song right before I left for my first 12 city solo tour. I was terrified, but I also had that curl in my toes that told me something good is about to happen... This is a "behind the scenes" music video I edited of my 2019 USA and European tours."
Shira is no stranger to the music scene. Born in upstate New York to Israeli parents
she split her time as a child between the two. After serving in the Israeli Army Band she moved to New York City and fell quickly in love with the area. Bringing her musical presence onto the stage, she appeared in Off-Broadway shows such as Solitary Light, in which she met Paul Carbonara, the former music director and guitarist of the legendary Blondie. With a connection that emerged, they have been music partners ever since. .
She has been featured in the likes of the New York Times, Philly Weekly, Brokelyn and more, as she wins over the hearts and ears of listeners.
