Shira Shares a Glimpse of Hope with New Single and Video for "Usually"
A beautifully crafted piece for 2020
Shira releases her highly anticipated single and video today for the stunning track "Usually." From her upcoming second album out later this year, the song is perfectly penned, as Shira puts another classic in the books.

The video itself comes from a personal place for Shira, as the candid feature is a string of backstage footage from her tours last year in the United States as well as Europe. On the song you can hear her classically trained influences and aspirations come through. Her story is one for the masses, especially in these times of worldwide fear, trouble and anxiety. She brings a lightness into the dark that helps us keep our flames burning bright.

Shira shares of the track:
"I wrote this song right before I left for my first 12 city solo tour. I was terrified, but I also had that curl in my toes that told me something good is about to happen... This is a "behind the scenes" music video I edited of my 2019 USA and European tours."
Shira is no stranger to the music scene. Born in upstate New York to Israeli parents
she split her time as a child between the two. After serving in the Israeli Army Band she moved to New York City and fell quickly in love with the area. Bringing her musical presence onto the stage, she appeared in Off-Broadway shows such as Solitary Light, in which she met Paul Carbonara, the former music director and guitarist of the legendary Blondie. With a connection that emerged, they have been music partners ever since. .

She has been featured in the likes of the New York Times, Philly Weekly, Brokelyn and more, as she wins over the hearts and ears of listeners. "Usually" is just the beginning of more great things to come for Shira, as she is ready to make a great impression on 2020 "Usually" is out today, and let it take you away!
