The Right Offs are an in-your-face group that knows all the right avenues. Today they reveal their new song “Post Bone Savy" off of their upcoming record, “Bardo,” which sees the light of day next Friday, September 25.
Throughout the release we hear a band that is prominently on the rise. The song captures the true essence of the group, and what they have to offer as they head into the full release. The track is captivating with bold lyricism, swirling instrumentation, and vocals that will be lingering in your head for days. Bringing back the true heart of Rock n' Roll, The Right Offs are creating music on their own terms. The group, who hail from New Haven, CT, carry the East Coast torch strongly. Their sound is accessible and vibrant, bringing their unique and prominent message to life. The track acts as a nice launching point as we eagerly head into their release.
The Right Offs share some insight on the track stating:
"Post Bone Savvy was one of the last songs we tracked for the record, but ended up being one of the better raw performances we captured. Lyrically, it deals with getting to the heart of how people, whether in friendships, relationships, or otherwise, relate to one another. We feel it's a great way to introduce Bardo since it in many ways highlights the energy and exploration of the album. And it's just a damn fun song to play."
They quickly built an East coast reputation as a vital and unforgettable live act, and were named one of the Best Emerging New England artists of 2017. Known for their high energy performances, the group goes above and beyond to bring you their all as their music is truly a labor of love.
In addition to their notable reputation as a live band, they’ve recorded two potent EPs. Max, Than and Bob released their debut Fire In A Theatre in 2018, documenting their in-the-flesh magic and their bona fides as an accomplished songwriting team. The trio impressed again the following year with their lauded 4-song EP Fake Adjustments. The effort garnered praise for its creative studio experiments, musicianship, and broader sound palette.
The Right Offs haven't been stopped by the unpredictable 2020 either. Their last release "Live at the 9," is an unsparing live set captured at a storied hometown venue which help them win over new fans. It’s a resounding affirmation of the trio’s core strength: the skill and explosive presence they bring to a stage. It’s also a prequel to another leap forward, a snapshot of a band positioned for their next challenge. Their upcoming full-length album, "Bardo," which releases next week, continues their path as well as forges into the future.
Keep out an eye and ear for The Right Offs, coming to your stereo in a big way. “Bardo,” is out next Friday, so get ready!
