Multi-platinum selling, multi-Billboard Music Award winning, multi-Country Music Award winning and double-GRAMMY winner LeAnn Rimes is back, back, back. With a remix of one of the Noughties’ most iconic albums, Coyote Ugly.
To celebrate 20 years since the release of the Trevor Horn-produced album that soundtracked the cult-classic film of the same name, LeAnn has pulled in the unique talents of world-renowned DJ Dave Audé to rework the magic of four of Coyote Ugly’s most beloved songs.
It’s nostalgia at the ready as ‘Right Kind Of Wrong’, ‘But I Do Love You’, ‘Please Remember Me’ and the global smash-hit ‘Can’t Fight The Moonlight’ – penned by the legendary Diane Warren – are put through their paces by DJ Dave Audé and given a 2020 zhuzh that will leave LeAnn fans old and new thrilled to their Coyote core. And each track is dropping individually, week by week.
‘Looking back 20 years later, it’s crazy to see how big of an impact the movie had on pop culture and how recognized the soundtrack is,’ says LeAnn. ‘I hope that Dave’s remixes help dig up some nostalgic memories and lead to some epic dance parties!’
Talking of parties, especially epic ones, there’s a lyric video – complete with 90s throwback vibes! – to accompany the megamix, should a bit of karaoke take your fancy (ideally while dancing on top of a saloon bar!)
This November, LeAnn will also launch a much anticipated - and needed - mental health and wellness podcast with iHeartRadio, a project that is very close to LeAnn’s heart and a lifetime in the making. Plus, 2021 sees her 25th anniversary as a recording artist and the release of ‘Blue’. Watch this space for more on that!
