Texas based singer-songwriter Lady Redneck has returned to the forefront of music with her brand new single, ‘Pray For Peace,’ a message song that raises concerns on violence in the world in a positive light. Usually known for her more cheeky songs, it’s an interesting change of pace for the artist, and we’re eager to see how it turns out in our full review of ‘Pray For Peace,’ by Lady Redneck.
From the very first note, ‘Pray For Peace,’ gives off some very serene and relaxed tones, with warm guitars and soft instrumentals inviting the listener. It establishes a soothing atmosphere quite quickly, and sonically the song only grows from here. It certainly helps that this is a sentiment we’re sure most people can agree with, though it’s nice to have a unifying voice for it nonetheless.
Her vocal performance on the single keeps things alive, delivering every line with understanding and a calm, cool demeanour. None of the lines here come off as corny or preachy, a testament to Lady Redneck’s skill as a songwriter. The mood of the song also matches the instruments perfectly, making for a cohesive listening experience that’s sure to hit a chord with most listeners.
