Lady Redneck Plays To Her Market On "Don't Try to Take Our Guns"

"Don’t Try To Take Our Guns" is a spiritual message about the power of faith within America and the feelings of  absolution with amendment rights and religion. The lyrics on the track  play  right  into  this  demographic  and  empowers  the  movement  and  resistance  they  are  taking. “Through  all  the  lies  we're  being  fed,  we  still  know  what's  wrong  or  right.    And  we  would  die....  No,  I'm not  the  only  one  –  So  don't  try  –  Don't  try  to  take  our  guns.”  Played  over  a  down-tempo  country  melody, Lady  Redneck  showcases  her  mezzo-soprano  voice  and  harmonization  capabilities  in  a  rather  pleasant performance.  Although  the  subject  matter  is  a  little  preachy  and  not  for  everyone,  the  performance  Lady Redneck  presents  is  worthy  of  recognition.  

With  a  growing  fan  base  and  a  developing  talent,  Lady  Redneck  is  gaining  much  attention.  This  young artist  strikes  a  defiant  tone  with  her  music  and  she  backs  it  up  with  her  vocal,  and  musical  abilities.  "Don’t Try  To  Take  Our  Guns"  would  make  a  great  addition  to  any  Southern  Country  playlist  and  does  play  right into  its  intended  market.  The  production  on  this  track  is  professional  and  well-executed allowing  Lady  Redneck’s  vocals  to  carry  across  the  audio  spectrum  crisp  and  clear  without  distortion.  Lady Redneck  captures  the  live  performance  feel  on  her  recordings  which  inspires  fans  to  want  to  see  her perform.  Musically,  "Don’t  Try  To  Take  Our  Guns"  is  appealing  and  makes  me  curious  to  explore  more  of Lady  Redneck’s  catalog  of  Country  hits.
