Single Review: Alex Krawczyk "Rhythm of the Road"

Soft sweet country songs are the bread and butter of the genre, and for many artists it’s the songwriting equivalent of comfort food. This is especially the case for one Alex Krawczyk, a country pop singer who’s been making music for the past 4 years now. She’s been a stalwart presence within the Country music scene, and with the release of her latest single, “Rhythm Of The Road,” we’ve decided to give it a closer look.

First thing’s first, “Rhythm Of The Road” is simply a fun and enjoyable song from start to finish. From the very first note, the positive vibes come through, and it’s pleasant to listen to. The melodies are nice and light, as the acoustic guitar and piano seamlessly blend together to make for a soothing sound. Layers of sound are gently added, giving the song some depth and complexity without losing out on its simplicity.

The writing is kept fairly simple, short and succinct, with the lyrics getting across everything you need to know. In the song, Alex sings about the road as an escape from issues she has to face in her life. While she’s vague about the exact issues she’s facing that makes her want to drive away, it adds to the song’s sense of mysticism towards the road. Indeed, the road in “Rhythm Of The Road” is the focus of the song, with the writing symbolically putting the issues into the back as Alex enjoys the road.

Alex Krawczyk’s delivery matches here the tone of the song perfectly. There’s a heavier emphasis on the more comforting aspects of her voice, being soft and soothing. It makes for an incredibly immersive experience, almost getting caught up in the idea of the rhythm of the road ourselves! It’s a testament to a well written song when you can just sit back and get transported to a whole different world from listening.

Overall, the single is a phenomenal experience, one that’s a stand out of the year so far. We recommend any fan of country tinged with catchy pop elements to give “Rhythm Of The Road” a listen. It’s comfy in all the best ways, and we really enjoyed our time reviewing it. There’s a certain sense of wonder to it, and we greatly liked that aspect of it. It’s sure to give every country fan a nice memory, especially if you’re the type that can get lost in a song and just vibe to it.
