Hannyta Crafts A Dance Pop Gem "Fluctuating" (Review)

Hannyta goes for an otherworldly take on classic dance pop with the lovely “Fluctuating”. The song incorporates infectious hooks alongside a certain shoegaze demeanor. By ensuring that these elements are perfectly balanced, it has a warm inviting presence to it. Over the course of the journey, it is easy to get lost within the myriad dreamworld of the entire experience. Vocals swim through the thick of the sound making sure everything has a density about it, one that feels doubly refreshing.

 Opening things up in a woozy demeanor, the song cycles in and out of focus. This adds to the sense of dreaminess that incorporates the whole entire piece together. With all of these various shifts there is a gradual evolution of the work, one that feels righteous in its own way. Elements of the sound further give it a bit of a retro flavor, going back to the trance-pop movement of the 90s. Due to all the resurgence of interest in that specific decade a lot of it feels downright decadent to fully behold, as the layers are peeled back to reveal a very real, very beating heart. Rhythms too have their own playfulness that gets embodied into the whole of the experience, making sure that it has a decency to it, one that is doubly refreshing as it all gradually fades out.
