Nathan O'Regan Releases Debut EP, 'Uncovered Vol.1'

With a voice that blends warmth with melancholy, Nathan O'Regan transforms some of Northern Ireland's best talents and hidden gems into moving ballads where each note resonates with sincerity. 'Uncovered Vol.1' is his debut EP, showcasing a captivating collection of covers.

This five-track collection showcases O’Regan’s ability to reinterpret some of the most talented voices from his homeland with both reverence and a distinct personal flair, giving new life to songs by Ciaran Lavery, MCVEIGH, Fiona Harte, Fiona O’Kane, and Gareth Dunlop.

At the heart of the EP is O'Regan’s powerful, soulful voice, which blends warmth with a touch of melancholy. His rendition of Gareth Dunlop’s It’ll Be Alright, the EP’s lead single, is a highlight. O'Regan likens the song to a “long-lost classic,” a sentiment that rings true in the way he infuses the track with timeless emotion.

Speaking on the track O'Regan notes, “The first time Gareth Dunlop’s ‘It’ll Be Alright’ hit my ears, I swore it was a long-lost classic. As I got to know Gareth, I realised songs like this are his bread and butter. He’s a true gem of Northern Ireland’s songwriting scene, and ‘It’ll Be Alright’ perfectly captures his talent. Including it on this covers EP was a no-brainer.”
